Customer Stories

How VUSE XR enables more immersive experiences with proven technology

Scheidt & Bachmann

From Fuel Pumps to Full Systems — Showcased Live, No Warehouse Required

Company Profile

Scheidt & Bachmann has engineered "system solutions for mobile living" since 1872. Today the Mönchengladbach-based company employs roughly 3,500 people across some 30 international subsidiaries, building the technology behind parking management, rail signalling, transit ticketing, and energy retail systems — physical, complex infrastructure that keeps millions of people and goods moving worldwide.

The Challenge

Selling connected, physical systems is hard when the systems themselves are the size of a fuel station. Bringing hardware to every tradeshow, event, and early customer conversation is expensive, slow to adapt, and typically means leaning on external agencies just to tell the story - leaving Scheidt & Bachmann with limited control over how, when, and to whom its innovation gets shown.

The Action

VUSE XR built an XR-based simulation of Scheidt & Bachmann's product and systems landscape, letting the team demonstrate real, integrated solutions — digitally, on demand, and without shipping a single physical unit. Products can now be shown, adapted, and walked through live, whether the audience is at a major trade fair or in an early-stage sales conversation.

The Result

At UNITI Expo 2026 in Stuttgart, Scheidt & Bachmann used the technology to present its integrated system landscape — from Siqma Connect to Siqma POS 2.0 — directly to visitors on the show floor.

As CEO Jörg M. Heilingbrunner put it: "VUSE XR gives us a strategic edge. We can showcase innovation, test new ideas with customers early, and adapt in real time — without relying on external agencies. It's not just faster; it's smarter, more scalable, and puts us in full control of how we present our products."
